Kayonza: Local Authorities appreciate AMI’s interventions in promoting unity and resilience
The appreciation of the interventions carried out by the Association Modeste et Innocent (AMI) by local authorities in Kabarondo Sector, Kayonza District, continues to grow, particularly in the cells of Cyabajwa, Cyinzovu, and Kabura, due to the organization’s efforts in promoting unity, social cohesion, and community resilience.
AMI organized a capacity-building session for its local partners, including Community Mental Health Assistants (ACSM) and members of the Community Reintegration Committee (CCR). The training focused on positive leadership, strengthening community capacities, and community healing from emotional wounds, with the aim of promoting peaceful coexistence, reconciliation, and lasting peace within communities.
Participants highly appreciated the initiative, noting that it plays an important role in strengthening unity and resilience at the local level.
These activities are implemented with the financial support of Eirene Suisse, AMI’s partner in promoting peace and social cohesion in Rwanda.
